I absolutely adored working with this family. They were so much fun and the family ranch out in Lometa made for a gorgeous backdrop. The kids were all so sweet and I really enjoyed getting to know them. I'm never sure how things will go when I'm asked to add dogs into a family portrait, but these dogs were awesome! They kept things exciting (although the run in with bulls was a little too exciting for me!) and are definitely a huge part of the family.
I have really grown to love photographing families. One of the many things I love most about what I do is getting to see a little glimpse into a family dynamic. There is always so much love and caring and joy when they are together. Sometimes you see the difficulties too, but seeing them work through it together and with love is amazing. Families are so special and it's such an honor to get to capture that!
