Owen's Newborn Portraits

Newborn sessions are a lot of work and require a huge amount of patience, but the images you get are always so precious and absolutely heart melting. Everyone always says the baby phase goes by too fast and boy, is it ever true. I look back at the newborn portraits of my little ones and I'm so happy to have them. It's such a wonderful way to preserve forever this sweet little moment in life that is so fleeting.

Little Owen was just twelve days old when he came in for his newborn portrait session in the studio. He is just gorgeous and was such a little trooper for his session! Apparently Owen's daddy is a huge sports fan, so this seemed like the perfect opportunity to surprise him with some fun sports themed portraits of his sweet new baby boy. I don't usually work much with props, but shooting this sweet baby with a football and baseball mitt was so fun and the portraits turned out so cute (in my humble opinion)! Of course we had to balance things out and get some sweet images with soft blankies and mommy cuddles too!
