Schultz Family Portraits

This was my first time to meet the Schultz family and it was such a pleasure to get to know them and take their family portrait. What a beautiful family! 

I always love shooting extended family portraits. It's fun to see the family dynamic with adult children and grandchildren in the mix. There's the teasing between adult siblings, the grandparents that are absolutely head over heels for their grandchildren, the pride of a parent watching their child be a parent, and all of the other joy and drama that comes with everyone getting together. It may sound corny, but I find it kind of magical to be welcomed into such an intimate group and get a glance into their personalities and dynamic while I take their portraits. Yet another reason why I love what I do!
